The tuscan aquafer should be protected at all costs. We as farmers depend on ground water for our crops. Families on wells depend on it. The aquafer holds the valley floor up, along with its levies. In laymans-terms the tuscan aquafer is like a in-ground swimming pool. The deep end is where the exporters will be pumping, the shallow end is where the rest of us are drawing from. As the pool recedes (regardless of the reasons), which end of the pool will go dry first. The shallow end. (OUR END).
