Michele;

I just posted a summary article about the Salida situation, and left a few comments on the site. Nestle's always gotten something of a free ride in Colorado, and their appearance in Chaffee County is vintage Nestle; broad, vague promises of benefits to the community that are hard to pin down (bottled water the extent of their "support" for the schools??).

Precious few benefits seem to accrue to the community (economic or otherwise), and Nestle once again walks away having earned a monster profit on a resource mined from a rural community.

Hi Fellow Nestle Opponents,

We are starting up an opposition group in Chaffee County CO (Better late than never) WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! We have a lawyer who has very graciously donated his time and it would be great if we could have Jim Olsen's contact info so the two of them could talk.

Thanks a lot.
