I am sure if the State of Maine’s ethics filings were combed over that much more money would surface. And don’t forget the PACs that Nestle might have contributed to.
Just saw an article in the Central Maine Sentinel that Nestle contributed to other PACs including the one that was supporting the citizen’s referendum to repeal additional taxes to fund the State’s Dirigo health plan among other things. John: Bottled water companies like Nestle are through sitting on their hands, and we can expect their PAC donations to grow over the coming years. We’re already seeing increased activity by Nestle employees on the Internet and in the media, and I have a feeling the worst is yet to come.
